Walking with Jesus

This week, we welcome Jared Erhardt for the first of two teachings. Jared will be challenging us to walk with Jesus so that we can learn to walk like Jesus. What does it mean to read the scriptures through the lens of Christ? What is the difference between knowing about Christ and inviting him to walk with us?

3. The story of the Road to Emmaus teaches us to read the Bible with Jesus as the lens for interpreting scripture well. Is this new to you? What other lenses are there? What has been your experience with this? How does the “Jesus lens” help us?

5. What are ways we can cultivate an active relationship with Jesus? How can creating space in spiritual practices help with this?

6. What is your experience of communing with/walking with Jesus? If you are comfortable, share with one another in a safe space.
